BXCO is the Excel add-in operated by Comprista for official exchange-rate lookups inside spreadsheets.

Service summary

BXCO is an Excel add-in and web service operated by Comprista to deliver official, historical, and auditable exchange-rate data inside spreadsheets.

This policy applies to the BXCO service and add-in. It does not describe the Comprista website in general.

  1. Personal information

    01What information BXCO may receive

    BXCO may receive account and contact data when a person signs up, requests support, or communicates with Comprista, such as name, email address, and basic billing details when applicable.

    BXCO may also process the minimum information sent by Excel to answer a request, such as formula parameters, technical request identifiers, timestamps, and error logs required to operate the service.

  2. Use of information

    BXCO uses that information to authenticate access, respond to add-in requests, keep the service available, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet administrative or legal obligations.

    BXCO does not use spreadsheet content to build advertising profiles or resell personal information.

  3. Spreadsheet handling

    03What happens to spreadsheet data

    BXCO is designed to return exchange-rate data and function results. Comprista does not store complete Excel workbooks as part of the normal add-in flow.

    Values sent in a lookup may be processed temporarily in memory and may appear in limited technical logs when needed for diagnostics, security, or service integrity.

    BXCO may share information with providers that help operate infrastructure, hosting, technical analytics, payments, or support, only to the extent required to provide the service.

    BXCO may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or operation of the service.

  5. Retention and control

    05Retention, deletion, and contact

    Comprista keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate BXCO, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain basic administrative records.
